Gatherings: Sundays @ 10:00am
We currently gather on Sundays at 10:00am for our weekly worship gathering (with the exception of Shalom Sunday which currently takes place on months with 5th Sundays).
We gather together at 302 S. Main in Carl Junction, but neither this space, nor this time slot is “church.” The church is the people of God and the church gathers together in order to direct our worship to the only one worthy of it. All are welcome to join us during this time. The environment is casual, no pressure to dress or appear any certain way, come as you are. Here is a view of what to expect at our Sunday gathering.

Gospel Preaching
Our sermons walk verse by verse through scripture (listen here). We believe that all of scripture is ultimately pointing to Jesus and the truth of the Gospel. The pulpit is a place where Jesus is made much of throughout the teaching of all scripture. |
Gospel Liturgy
Our goal in a Sunday gathering is to present the Gospel as many times as possible. We do this through scripture reading, prayer and responsive readings. Additionally, our songs are selected based on gospel presentation and theological richness. |
Gospel Sacraments
When we gather together on Sunday mornings we partake in communion. This not merely a weekly tradition, it is an invitation to abide in Christ; to pause and reflect on both our sin and the glory of Christ. All believers are welcome to partake. |

After each gathering we invite visitors to gather in the fellowship hall for a time of coffee, refreshments and fellowship.

What About Kids?
We love kids at Rooted Church! Our Lil’ Sprouts kids ministry offers Sunday morning activities for our Pre-School age kids. After singing a few songs together with their parents, kids are dismissed to their classroom to enjoy songs, games, and age appropriate learning.
